I have lots of random things that go through my mind, but anyway, this is just my initial "Hey I'm blogging...we'll see what direction it goes in" post.
Happy EASTER! I just want to say today I am thankful for amazing friends. Went to a co-workers house for Easter and my husband and I were the only people who weren't actual family members, but felt completely like family the whole day.
Learned a lot about farming today. This Houston born and raised girl had never been on a real farm before, despite my many trips to the Houston Rodeo. It's just not the same. I even drove my first tractor day! I drove a 1954 John Deere tractor and a 2005 tractor worth more than my house. CRAZY! Learned a lot about peanuts and cotton...and got some fresh asparagus!! yum!!
So needless to say I felt extremely blessed today even though my family is over 1,000 miles away.
