Hey! Guess what?! We started planning free travel today! Here's the plan: Athens to Rome, Florence, Pisa, Venice, Munich, Paris, Barcelona, Glasgow (Scotland), London!! Then we fly home! That's the tentative/hopefully soon to be confirmed schedule! I'm so excited! Also, Josh got offered the internship in Illinois! I'm so happy for him and so proud of him! I know God will do wonderful things through him! Anyway, tomorrow we head to Delphi for an overnight trip. I'm excited! Oh yeah! Last night we dyed easter eggs! The Myhans searched for hours and found a total of 40 white eggs. Crazy huh?! Then this morning we had an easter egg hunt behind the Artemis, and a pancakes, bacon and eggs breakfast! Soooo yummy! I love everyone here so much! Well, thats all for now! God bless, Love ya!

Hey! Well, quick update of the past few days...Well, they've been absolutely nuts! Tests and quizzes everywhere! Two more tests and 2 more quizzes to go this week. Pray for all of us over here; for our sanity until Saturday afternoon. Anyway, 2 days ago, on the 22nd, was the day that Josh and I have officially been together 1 yr!...And we still like each other. So last night a bunch of us went and saw CATS, the musical. We all got all dressed up, and everyone look sooo nice! Well first we stopped in this little resort town that was really cute for dinner. Josh took me to TGI Friday's, kinda celebration for the day before. It was very very yummy! Then we all headed to Athens for the musical. It's the show from London. The show in itself was done wonderfully. The only thing I didn't really like was the storyline. So we got back a little after 1 last night. I went straight to bed. So, now I gotta study like crazy, so I'm gonna head out! God bless! Have a great day all!

Okay, I'm going to finish updating as much as possible. So Tuesday morning we went straight to Troy! I even took my Spring Sing shirt with me from last spring! (You girls in Regina know what I'm talking about ) So anyway, we saw all the different layers of Troy, and which layer probably related to the Trojan War. There was also a large replica of a Trojan horse there, and we all took pictures in the horse. It was cool. Then we drove to Pergamum, which houses the steepest theater in the world. We also went to the Acropolis there, saw the Asklepeion, and saw the medical center of ancient times. I could tell lots of interesting stories about the medical center, but I know you don't want me to ramble. We drove to Smyrna for the night (though Ismir is the modern name), which was Baha's home town! The hotel there was nice! Big fluffy comforters definitely rank well in my book.

Wednesday we drove to Sardis, where there were lots of big ruins! We saw the Temple of Artemis, an ancient road, lots of ancient shops, and the HUGE courtyard of the temple of the imperial cult. Also, that was the place where, according to Baha, Aleah "fall down and go bema". It was really funny because she tripped over the bema and fell smack down on the ground. Then we drove through Philadelphia and to Hierapolis, where there were mineral springs that we got to walk in, saw the theater, Gate of Dimitian, Arcadian Way, and Philip's tomb. That night our hotel had a pool! And they were really warm pools! It was lots of fun!

On Thursday we went to Laodicea, which they just started excavating 3 months ago. We saw what they have excavated of the ancient theater, and the water pipes that brought the water from Hierapolis. Then we went to Aphrodisias, which has the best preserved ancient stadium, seating 30,000. Alsom the Temple of Aphrodite, Hadrian's Bath, the Bishop's Palace, and other things. Then we went to our hotel in Kudasi.

Friday we went to Ephesus! We saw the basilica of St.John, the baths, the Library of Celsus, and the Temple of Hadrian. We also went to the theater where the riot in Ephesus was held in Acts 19 (I think Acts 19). I have a story to tell from there. It warms my heart, hope it will warm yours. We were the first group at Ephesus for the day, so when we got to the theater we deciding to sing a few songs, seeing as it has lots of significance to early Christian faith. During our last song a group of people walked in. So when we finished we started to get up and leave and a man from the group yelled out "One more, please sing just one more." So we sang "Our God is an awesome God". And at the end he just looked so happy and the group clapped and he came and thanked us and asked us our church background and stuff. It was a really neat experience. And I'm really glad to got to touch someone's day. It's always wonderful to know there are other people out there who love to hear praises to God just like you do. So anyway, after that we made a quick stop by the Temple of Diana (1 column out of 127 left), ate lunch, and went to the airport, where we flew back home to the Artemis! Overall, it was an amazing trip! Love Turkey! You should go sometime! Anyway, movie time! Love you all lots! Hope you've had a wonderfully God-blessed day!

Hey! Well, I just got back from Turkey and I had an absolutely amazing time! Turkey was nothing like I expected it to be, but I loved it. We started out Sunday morning with a little church service at the Artemis. Then we headed to the airport and flew to Istanbul. When we got to Istanbul we had lunch at this little restaurant overlooking the Strait of Bosphorus. Then we headed to Topkapi Palace, which was beautiful. In one of the rooms they always have someone reading the Koran-24 hours a day. That was pretty interesting. Then we headed to the Hagia Sophia, which means "holy wisdom." It was beautifully decorated with lots of mosaics. It's sad because Baha (our awesome tour guide) said that it will eventually fall down (in like a couple hundred years), and there is nothing they can do about it. After that we checked into our hotel. Then we headed out into town in Istanbul, Turkey. It is actually a very modern city. The streets were all lit up, and there were tons of people out shopping and hanging out. I got Turkish Delight from one shop and Josh got a donut from Dunkin Donuts. So we headed back to the hotel and headed dinner on the terrace overlooking the city. Then we headed to bed.

The next day, Monday, we were still in Istanbul and started out at the Hippodrome and the copy of the Obelisk, brought from Delphi in Egypt. It was raining pretty hard so we didn't stick around long. Then we headed to the Blue Mosque, which was gorgeous. We had to take our shoes on, but I walked in and just said "wow!" So we learned a little about the worship in a mosque, and took pictures (of course, like we do everywhere ). After that we went to the Spice Market, which was really cool. I got a mix of lots of different kinds of teas and a mix of different spices and peppers. It was really neat to just walk around and smell everything. The people here are a lot better than in Egypt too (meaning they aren't as pushy). I really enjoyed my time in Istanbul. Then we got in the bus (which we did a lot on the trip) and drove for a while. We stayed in Canakkale for the night. We had about an hour and a half where the girls got together in one of the rooms and just sang and shared scripture. It was really awesome. I love the girls here so much! We had dinner in there sometime. Well, I'm not gonna mention the meals from now on (just thought I'd make sure you knew they aren't starving us here). Sleep time!

Well, it's time for dinner, so I'll have to finish the next 3 and a half days either later tonight or very soon. Hope you enjoy this update for now. Hope you aren't in too much suspense. Love and God bless!
